PRODUCT OVERVIEW: Our LED directional signage allows you to customize your signage needs with these bright, low-energy usage, attractive, waterproof, and maintenance-free signs. You have a choice of both direct-view and diffused LEDs, which accommodate any custom logo, image, or message in all custom fonts, colors, and sizes.

CONSTRUCTION: Designed for long life and durability in exposed elements. The housing is constructed of weather and corrosion resistant 6063 T5 extruded aluminum, secured with rust resistant zinc fasteners. Face plate construction of .045 aluminum, protected by an impact–resistant, polycarbonate cover. A black louvered sunscreen eliminates glare and increases visibility. Back plate constructed of .075 aluminum.

ILLUMINATION: Illumination is accomplished by using long life, ultra-bright LEDs. Our direct view design provides a consistently bright, uniform illumination from all angles. Diffused view signs also available.

BATTERY TECHNOLOGY: This product operates on AC only power.

INSTALLATION: All units have been designed for easy installation, allowing for ceiling, end and back mounting, or to a junction box with the optional mounting canopy kit. Recessed mounting is also available with the optional mounting kit. Back plate with 0.875" diameter knock-out provided.

Question : How do I know if this exit sign is approved for use in my city/county/state?
Answer : The UL listing (Underwriters Laboratories) for of our exit signs ensures that these signs are code compliant. UL tests our exit signs and then gives their approval. This approval comes in the form of a listing. As long as your exit sign is UL listed it will work for your jurisdiction. Two exceptions exist: New York City and Chicago, which have their own exit sign specifications in addition to the UL listing.
Question : What does 120/277v mean?
Answer : 120/277 refers to the line voltage that the exit sign can operate on. 120 refers to residential and small commercial line voltage while 220 refers to commercial and office building line voltage. The main point is that our exit signs will work in either situation so you don’t need to worry about the functionality. We recommend using a licensed electrician or maintenance professional to install exit signs, emergency lights and other safety egress equipment.
Question : What is and do I need the battery backup option?
Answer : The battery backup option provides emergency battery power to illuminate your exit sign or emergency light in case of a fire, earthquake, or other emergency that causes a power outage. You must have the battery backup model if you DO NOT have a generator that provides emergency power to your facility.
