Product Characteristics
PRODUCT OVERVIEW: City of New York approved heavy-duty emergency lighting unit is efficient and easy to install. This unit is constructed of 20 gauge steel for durability. It is completely self-contained and fully automatic.
CONSTRUCTION: Constructed of heavy duty 20 gauge steel to withstand abuse. Comes standard in a durable powder-coated white finish.
ILLUMINATION: Mounts with two or three PAR 36 style lamp heads. Illumination capacity: 18 - 18W, 27 - 27W, 50 - 50W. Lamps are offered in 9 and 12 watt models. Available with a 50 watt remote capacity.
BATTERY TECHNOLOGY: The NYSEL utilizes a 6-Volt, sealed lead acid, rechargeable, maintenance-free battery.
INSTALLATION: Units are suitable for wall mounting.
ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Utility Input: 120/277VAC, 60 Hz.
Safety Circuitry:
Low Voltage Battery Disconnect: Protects the battery from being severely damaged by deep discharge during prolonged power failures. Brownout Protection: Automatically switches the unit to emergency mode when utility voltage is reduced to the point at which most fluorescent light fixtures would extinguish.
CODE COMPLIANCE: UL 924 listed, complies with state and local codes.
